Before we study about procedure text I will tell you about my expression

Last Sunday I helped my father to gardening, we plant oil palm trees, to plant oil palm trees there are several steps, that you are must follow.

Procedure text is a text that designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps. It explain how people perform different processes in a sequence of steps.

Language features :

1. Use of simple present tense

2. Imperative tense

3. Temporal conjunction : first, second, then, next, finally, etc …

4. Use action verbs : turn on, stir, cook, etc…

The generic structure of procedure text are :

1. Goal/aim (tittle)
2. Material
3. Steps
